Recommended affordable Dermatology and cosmetic clinics in Busan: Muse, PPEUM, and Abijou in the Seomyeon area – fee details and booking guidelines from BeautsGO
If you, like me, want to get medical beauty treatments in Seomyeon without getting overcharged, then this article is based on my experiences at three different clinics. To cut to the chase: if your budget is limited, I highly recommend PPEUM; for basic cosmetic procedures, Muse in Seomyeon is a good option. And if your trip also includes a visit to Seoul, Abijou is definitely worth considering.
Why did I choose these three companies?
My trip to Busan this time lasted for four days and three nights, and I stayed in the area near Seomyeon Station. Before departure, I did a lot of research and found that there were actually many affordable Dermatology clinics in this area of Seomyeon—their prices were much lower than those in Seoul’s Myeongdong and Gangnam districts, and many of them even offered Chinese-language translation services. The reasons why I finally chose these three clinics were quite simple: they were all within walking distance from Seomyeon Station (or could be conveniently visited as part of a trip to Seoul), their prices were clearly listed, and there were plenty of genuine reviews about them online.
Muse Clinic Seomyeon Branch (뮤즈클리닉 서면점) – The perfect choice near Seomyeon Station

Let’s start with Muse. I used to work at their Gangnam branch, and this time I found out that they also have a branch in Seomyeon – it’s located right next to the Seomyeon station, so it only takes about five minutes to walk there. The clinic is on the 3rd floor of a commercial building; the entrance isn’t very noticeable, but once inside, the space is quite spacious. The decoration is simple and understated, completely different from the tense, hospital-like atmosphere you might expect.
The day I went was a normal weekday afternoon. I waited at the clinic for about 10 minutes before it was my turn. The consultation service provided Chinese translation (they used KakaoTalk for online translation, and actually, the communication went very smoothly). The doctor would first ask which part of my body I wanted to improve and then give me suggestions based on my budget. Initially, I only wanted to get Botox injections, but I was persuaded to add Inmode treatment as well because the price was so low that I didn’t hesitate for even three seconds.

My experience: Botulinum toxin for a squared chin + Inmode FORMA
I chose 50U of domestic botulinum toxin for my chin and underwent three sessions of the Inmode FORMA treatment. Around the fifth day after the injection of domestic botulinum toxin, I began to notice results—the contours of my jawline became more defined. I found the effect to be similar to that of Botox in the past, but the cost was nearly three times lower. I had three sessions of the Inmode FORMA treatment, each lasting about 20 minutes. The procedure was slightly warm but completely painless; my face would turn red afterwards, but the nurse applied ice compresses for ten minutes, which helped reduce the redness. After the three sessions, the firmness of my skin improved significantly, especially in the area around my chin.

How to Make an Appointment at Muse Clinic
The Muse Seomyeon store has not yet been listed on BeautsGO for the Busan area, but you can make a reservation through the Muse Gangnam store page, and the customer service will assist you in being referred to the Seomyeon store. I did it this way myself, and it went very smoothly.
PPEUM Lifenju Busan International Store – the most affordable option in Seomyeon, without a doubt.

I had heard of Lifenju (PPEUM) in Seoul; it was known as the “national Dermatology clinic,” and its prices were so low that one might wonder if they were incorrect. Later, I found out that they also have a branch in Busan, located just 4 minutes’ walk away from Exit 1 of Seomyeon Station. It’s a four-story building, and all four floors are occupied by their clinic – quite a large establishment indeed.
I went there around 11 a.m. on a weekday, and there weren’t too many people yet. But in the afternoon, I saw quite a few people waiting at the entrance. There was a staff member who could speak Chinese at the counter (supposedly a Chinese student working part-time), so I could fill out the forms and get consultations in Chinese, which was really convenient for someone like me who can only say “thank you” in Korean.

My experience: Wrinkle-reducing injections + Pico whitening treatment + microbubble therapy
I chose three treatments to package together: a South Korea-made wrinkle-removing injection for one area of the face, one Pico glow whitening laser treatment, and a routine microbubble facial cleansing session. For the wrinkle-removing injection, I had it done on my forehead lines, and the results were visible on the same day (in fact, domestic products tend to disperse the effect more quickly). After the Pico glow whitening treatment, my skin really looked brighter. The microbubble cleansing was just a regular procedure, but the nurse was very gentle, so it didn’t hurt enough to make me want to grab the chair.
The key factor is the price: the total cost for these three treatments is less than NT$940,000 (about NT$900 or so), which is already the same price as a single treatment for microbubble therapy in Taiwan. Although the clinic is very busy and the service is fast-paced, you won’t get that luxurious experience of lying back on a comfortable sofa. But if you, like me, want effective and affordable treatments, Lifen Ju Zhen is absolutely the best choice.

Reservation Method for PPEUM Lifenju
The Lifen Ju Busan store has already been listed on BeautsGO. You can directly make a reservation using the reservation form below. After filling in the information, the customer service will contact you in Chinese to confirm the time – you don’t need to call them yourself (this is especially important for me, since my Korean is really poor).
Abijou Ya Mi Zhu (Seoul Myeongdong Store) – If you ever plan to visit Seoul again, be sure to make a reservation at this store.

Let me make things clear: Abijou currently does not have any branches in Busan; all their locations are in Seoul (Myeongdong, Gangnam, Hongdae, etc.). So why have I included them in this review of medical beauty services in Busan? It’s because many of my friends who visit Busan usually spend an extra day or two in Seoul at the end of their trip, or they might go to Seoul first before heading to Busan. If you also plan such a “dual-city itinerary,” Abijou is definitely worth adding to your list.
I visited the store in Myeongdong. It’s extremely easy to find – right next to the Myeongdong station; you only need to walk for two minutes after getting off the train. The clinic is located on the B1 floor, and the entrance is at a level below ground. When I went there for the first time, I did have to look for it for a moment, but Google Maps helped me navigate perfectly, so I had no problems finding my way.

My experience: Thermage FLX + Pico
The experience at Yami Zhu was quite different from the previous two places I visited. The overall atmosphere there is more upscale; from the reception upon entry to the consultation rooms, everything is done on a one-on-one basis, without any sense of a “assembly line” process. I opted for the Thermage FLX full-face treatment with 600 treatment sessions, combined with the Picosure Pro Pico treatment for my entire face. I had inquired about Thermage in Taiwan before, but the price quoted made me decide against it on the spot. However, at Yami Zhu, the cost was only slightly more than half of what it was in Taiwan. Although the treatment was still a bit painful, the nurse kept talking to me to distract me, and the intensity of the treatment could be adjusted accordingly, so it wasn’t overly intense.
On the day of the Pico treatment, my face turned a bit red, but the redness disappeared the next day. I could definitely see an improvement in the evenness of my skin tone, especially since the red marks left after previous inflammation had faded significantly. Overall, although the price of Yami Pearl is higher than that of Lifen Ju and Muse, the quality of the equipment and the level of service are indeed different, making it a good option for those who want to get a one-time treatment with excellent results.

How to Make an Appointment for Abijou Yami Zhu
Yamizhu is available on BeautsGO, and you can make a reservation directly using the reservation form below at the Myeongdong store. If you have plans to visit Seoul after your trip to Busan, it is recommended to book in advance, as the popular treatments there (especially Thermage) tend to fill up quickly, and you may have to wait if you try to visit on the spot.
A quick comparison of three options: How would I make my choice?
If your budget is very tight and you only want to spend around 1,000 New Taiwan dollars on some basic treatments, then choosing Lifen Ju is definitely the best option since there isn’t any other service that can offer this price. If you prefer a higher-quality environment and want to undergo treatments like Botox or Inmode, Muse Seomyeon offers great value for money and is located very close to the Seomyeon station, so you can easily stop by during your shopping trip. If you plan to have more extensive treatments such as Thermage or HIFU and your itinerary includes Seoul, I would recommend adding Yameizhu to your schedule – its equipment and the experience of its doctors are indeed quite reliable.
