To get straight to the point: The three Dermatology clinics on Naver with high ratings on Jeju Island are ami, Beauty, and NowMedi.
Before going to Jeju Island for medical beauty treatments, I read no less than thirty guide articles and carefully checked each option on Naver Maps. In the end, I selected three Dermatology clinics with consistently high Naver ratings of over 9.8: ami AMI Dermatology, Beauty Dermatology (BT SKIN), and NowMedi Dermatology. I visited all three of them in person to experience their facilities, doctors, price transparency, and foreign-speaking service offerings firsthand.
Let me conclude this point first: None of these three establishments take advantage of foreign customers. They offer bilingual services in both Chinese and English, and all prices are clearly displayed, with no hidden fees or additional charges. What follows are my actual experiences at each of these places, and after reading them, you will be able to determine which one is more suitable for you.

The first one: ami AMI Dermatology – the “regular hospital” with the strongest comprehensive capabilities.
Ami was the first clinic I visited, and it gave me the impression of being the most “official” option. It wasn’t one of those small clinics; instead, it had the structure of a regular hospital, with sufficient capacity to address various medical needs at once. Its address is 4th floor, No. 3323, 1100-ro, Jeju City, and it takes about 15 minutes to get there by taxi from the airport.
When I arrived at the clinic, the front desk was very busy, but there were Chinese staff members to assist me, and the registration process was quick. During the consultation, the doctor used testing equipment to analyze my skin and then recommended a combined treatment plan using spot-removing lasers and hyaluronic acid injections, taking into account my specific circumstances. What impressed me most was that the doctor didn’t try to push expensive treatments on me right away; instead, he honestly told me which procedures could be postponed and which would yield better results if done first.

Another advantage of ami is that it offers evening consultations every Thursday until 21:00, which is particularly convenient for tourists who arrive in Jeju Island in the afternoon and thus do not have to miss out on their daytime activities. The services offered include skin management, anti-aging treatments, acne and spot removal, as well as Filler injections. The specific prices can only be determined after a personal consultation, but overall, the cost level is considered moderate to high on Jeju Island.
If you are currently working on projects related to medical aesthetics in Jeju Island, ami is undoubtedly a reliable choice – someone who can handle everything without making any mistakes.
The second one: Beauty Dermatology (BT SKIN) – a well-established clinic with three specialist doctors specializing in this field
Beauty Dermatology is one of the clinics I have been looking forward to visiting the most. Established in 2001, it has been operating in Jeju Island for over twenty years, and its reputation on Naver is extremely solid. The clinic is located on floors 2-6 of the RenDa Building, No. 5 Gongsi-ro, Jeju City, right across from the Jeju Junyue Hotel. It only takes a ten-minute walk to reach the Lotte and Shilla duty-free shops – its location is truly tailor-made for tourists.
As soon as you enter the place, you are amazed by its scale: the 2nd floor houses the registration center and consultation rooms, the 3rd floor is dedicated to laser treatment, the 5th floor serves as the Dermatology Management Center, and the 6th floor operates the liposuction clinic. This approach of organizing facilities by floor is unique among Dermatology clinics on Jeju Island.

The most compelling selling point of Beauty is that its services are provided by three specialized Dermatology doctors (certified with South Korea’s red label). This concept requires some explanation: in South Korea, specialized Dermatology doctors account for only 2% of all physicians, and they must undergo rigorous specialized training and pass strict examinations to obtain their qualifications. While many clinics rely on general practitioners to perform cosmetic procedures, Beauty ensures that these procedures are carried out personally by specialized doctors, which represents a significant difference at the technical level.
I underwent Pico laser freckle removal and LDM treatment. The day after the Pico treatment, the scabs began to fall off, and after a week, the freckles had noticeably faded. After the LDM treatment, my skin felt extremely hydrated and looked very radiant. The total cost for these two treatments was around 200,000 South Korean won, which I consider to be a very good value for money. In fact, in 2025, the clinic’s director, Mr. Leung Jun-shing, was even awarded the title of “Model Taxpayer of South Korea,” an official recognition that is quite rare in the medical aesthetics industry.
In terms of business hours, it is open from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday (with a lunch break from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm), and from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays. Please avoid scheduling activities on Sundays when planning your itinerary.

The third option: NowMedi Dermatology – an HIFU specialist that is open 24/7 throughout the year.
NowMedi was the last place I visited, and it was also the one that finally convinced me to write this guide. It is located on the 3rd floor of the APLEX building at No. 511 Yanbei Road, Jizhou City, and it takes about 15 minutes to get there by taxi from the airport. The most notable feature of this clinic is that eight senior doctors take turns on duty, operating 24/7 throughout the year. This means that no matter when you visit, you will always be treated by experienced physicians who will conduct both the consultation and the procedure for you.

I went to NowMedi specifically to undergo the Ulthrea treatment. I had inquired about the costs in China before, and the prices ranged from 12,000 to 18,000 RMB. Moreover, in many places, there were hidden additional charges for “extra treatments” or “additional areas.” NowMedi uses equipment imported directly from the US company Ulthera, and each probe comes with a unique anti-counterfeiting code that can be verified on the FDA’s official website. The director even showed me the probe packaging in person; the anti-counterfeiting label and production date were clearly visible.
The entire procedure takes approximately 90 minutes, including 30 minutes for applying the anesthetic. When treating the jawline and Apple Zone, there is a slight tingling sensation, but it remains within an acceptable range. The clinic director adjusts the energy settings according to the degree of laxity in each area, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. In terms of cost, a session using 300 HIFU treatments costs around 2 million Korean won, which is nearly half the price compared to domestic options.
NowMedi also employs 2 full-time Chinese translators who accompany patients throughout the entire process, from registration upon arrival at the clinic to post-operative care guidance. I have previously written a more detailed article about my experience using NowMedi’s HIFU technology; you may find it interesting if you are interested.
